Two individuals, with two hopeful hearts, on two different paths, with the same idea of finding love, just happened to be sitting a few clicks away. Neither of us searching for the other, but both believing that one day, God would bless us with the joy of sharing life with that perfect one.

He recognized me, but I was in the blind. He sought after me, but I continued to look the other way. He persisted and I ignored, until one day, I received a notice. "Marlon Thompson reacted ❤️ to your photo." Realizing the photo wasn't posted on my page, this hearted ❤️ reaction was different than all the others.

Sparking my curiosity, I sent him a personal message asking, "Have we met?" But he didn't respond right away. Out of concern for appearing desperate, Marlon waited a couple hours before replying, "Good Morning Ashley, yes we met a long time ago, I think you were still in high school."

This initial exchange sparked a discussion that continued until we both realized we share the same hopes, we've prayed the same prayers, and one living without the other no longer makes sense.

Our desire to become one in Christ started with Marlon's courage to ask for my hand in marriage. After securing the blessing of my parents and my oldest child, a surprise birthday celebration turned out to be a surprise proposal.

Real love is hard to find, and we're humbled we've found one another. Marlon and I are excited to become one and look forward to you sharing in this everlasting celebration with us.
